Day 3 - 1, 2, 3, 4, Fries

Angelina knows all of her letters. She doesn't know her ABC song yet, but she has all 26 letters of recognition. She knows a lot of shapes as well. Her favorite shape is an oval. :) We are currently working on her numbers and she can count a little. I say one, she says 2 and then we say 3, 4 and fries......yep that's right, fries. :) 1, 2, 3, 4, fries. Of course, she could possibly be saying fives but to me it sounds like fries. She knows the number 8 well and when I say 7, she says 8, 9, 10! Love it.

Abby currently is working really hard at being mobile.  She manages to swing herself around and push herself back but I'm not sure if that would be considered a creep yet......definitely not in scoot category.  She can push herself up onto her knees sometimes and loves to push herself into a push up position. This is one of her more serious faces.   I swear, I LOVE those cheeks!

Day 1: Let Me Tell You 'Bout My Best Friend

So I've decided to do a spinoff off of a spinoff.  In another area, I am doing 365 days of Andrea.  This has been done time and time again, but I decided that since getting a new camera that that would be the best way to learn it.   Since doing so, I have caught some pretty cute shots of Angelina & Abigail.   Thus, my spin off is 365 days of Angelina & Abby.  Today is about sisters and best friends.  As I look up our family make up...after my mom and mother in law, there really aren't may girls in the family who have a sister in the next generation.   

When I told people that Abby was going to be a girl, there was one thing that resonated from women who HAD sisters growing up, they all said things like, "Awww, sisters are the best of friends"  I am hoping that Angelina and Abby especially will adhere to this idea.  I know it's not a guarantee, but so far they LOVE each other.   Abby smiles at Angelina with a look of adoration reserved especially for her big sister and there are no shortage of kisses of love and protection from Angelina that constantly go Abby's way.  Of course, I am sure that there will be squabbles and jealously and things may not always be perfect, but for now I'd consider them to be the "best of friends", just like they all said.

So without further ado, here is a cute picture of Angelina and Abigail hanging out at home.   A fitting way to have a new beginning to the blog and the 365 days that is the Gauthier girls.......the two girls together. :)
