Her Original Due Date

Today was Angelina's original due date. I can't believe that this day is finally here. I was afraid that I would have an extremely tough day today. It is definitely a bittersweet day. I feel blessed to have her home. I sometimes feel badly that she had to come so early, but I look at her sweet face and know that we made the right decision.

My gramary came to visit me today. We cuddled and had a great time while Daddy was working late.

Morning Daddy!

I had a great night last night. Mommy thinks she has finally figured me out. I was only up for about 30 minutes! YAY Annie! I finally had my beauty rest, so I let Daddy take these wonderful shots of me this morning. Enjoy!

Lazy, Sleepy Days & Long, Sleepless Nights

I kept Mommy and Daddy up from about 3 o'clock this morning until about 8 a.m. I was not a happy camper. I wanted to be held and have my paci held for me all morning long. Mommy and Daddy were not very social in the morning after the night I gave them. Due to my long and late night, I napped and slept for most of the day. I did not like it when Mommy decided to take pictures of me, so I buried my head into my SwaddleMe blanket like I was a turtle. Mommy wanted to keep me awake to keep the same thing from happening tonight, but she was too exhausted and decided she needed to sleep too.

1st Trip to the Pedi's Office

Annie went to her follow-up appointment at the pediatrician today. She weighed 4 lbs. 14 oz. and was 17 1/2 inches long. YAY! She wore her "I'm Mommy's Dream Come True" outfit.

Dr. Schaffer gave her a pink shirt that said, "I feel safer cause I see Dr. Schaffer." Apparently all the doctors at his practice have nice little t-shirts that they give out to their patients. We will see him in 4 weeks for our first round of shots. He said he wants her to be a little bigger.
