M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E
Here are Ariel and I on the way to Reliant Stadium to see it. Daddy surprised Mommy and me with the tickets.
These were pretty cool hats that they gave us with our programs. I usually don’t like things on my head and pull them right off, but I was happy to get into the celebration. It was a party hat with Mickey ears because we were at Disney on Ice: Let’s Celebrate. It showcased holidays during the year including Mardi Gras, Valentine’s Day and Christmas.
I was mesmerized.
Daddy and me watching the show. I clapped for the performances, sang and danced during the songs. I didn’t know the word but I think my singing was great. I like the fast songs the best. Especially the song from Carnival (an event that happens in Brazil around February)!
Mommy and me watching the show.
Mommy and Daddy have realized something I really like. WOW, Fireworks!! Cool!
Alright, souvenirs!! Check out my cool princess hat Mommy and Daddy got me!
Kisses of appreciation. Thanks, Daddy. That was the coolest!!!!!
Phew! What a day. I am exhausted!
Here’s some pictures of the show!

Angelina’s First Easter Egg Hunt
I went to my first Easter Egg Hunt today. Our neighborhood was hosting their 7th Annual Easter Egg Hunt, so Mommy, Courtney and me walked down with the wagon and met Gramary and Granddaddy for the Easter
Egg Hunt.
Had to grab a little snack before we were on our way.
Mom packed everything for us. She had snacks, water, an Easter Basket, my stuffed bunny and ME all loaded into the wagon.
Mommy and me posing for a picture before the Easter Egg Hunt started.
I’m ready to go!!
I liked picking up the eggs, but I didn’t want to let them go to put them in my basket. I’ll learn by next year that the faster I pick them up, the more I get.
Checking out my stash. It was fun looking to see what I had found in my eggs, but my favorite thing was taking them out one by one and throwing them back on the ground.
Just a few more to throw out and I can go and see the Easter Bunny.
While waiting for the Easter Bunny, I ran into our newest neighbor, little Mr. A. I had so much fun trying to talk to him. I LOVE Babies!
I also stopped to take in the scenery and smell the roses. Well, these weren’t roses, but you get the picture.
Come on, Easter Bunny, my fair skin isn’t going to last in the sun too long. (Even after 2 applications of sunscreen!)

Happy 1st Birthday, Sweet Angelina!
I looked at you this morning and you looked different to me. You looked like you had grown over night, like all of a sudden, you woke up and you seemed like you were ten feet tall. (IMPOSSIBLE. I'll be happy if you break five. :))
Well today, Daddy and I went into your room to wake you up. That's something Daddy likes to do to get his special time, but today I insisted, please don't wake her up without me! And yes I said, WOKE you up, because like your mommy, you LOVE to sleep. We patted you and sung to you and said, "Angelinnnnnnaaaa", but you didn't really want to budge..
You FINALLY rolled over and stretched and made that pouty kissy face that you've made since you were in the NICU. It's the same face that Daddy makes when Mommy wakes him up from falling asleep on the couch at night to get him to come to bed. It's one of those sweet moments that I see your Daddy in you...and I love it.
We sang Happy Birthday to you and you smiled. You always smile in the morning. And what a beautiful smile it is.
But today is different. I still can't believe you are one. I can't believe that one year ago today we were so scared, so anxious, so happy and in shock at the same time, but we should have known that you had a strong will and an even bigger heart.
We had a normal day, playing, running around getting things for your party, gave you a little more cake and icing (since it was your REAL birthday). And had a lot of cuddle time and some Mommy and Baby talks..
And wow, what a blessing you are my sweet Angelina. You came into my world and stole my heart and continue to steal it every second of every day (and many more hearts, especially Daddy's).
But, What a year today marks and what a day tomorrow makes for you.
I love you, sweet sweet Angelina Rose.
Love,
Mommy
