My poor baby girl is sick. Abby has bronchiolitis. Took her to the pedi this morning and he said it has to run its course. We might be hearing these nasty coughs for anywhere up to two weeks! Bronchiolitis is usually caused by RSV which is the virus we were so afraid of with Angelina. And the virus that put their sweet cousin Megs in the hospital last year at 3 weeks old. :(
Luckily Abby was full term and is older and Angelina is 2 so it should just run its course.
We have to watch her close but with good pulse ox (oxygen saturation)..100% at the doc, hopefully her recovery will be quick.
Does this look like a sick baby to you?
Side note: She weighed 12 lbs. 15 oz. :)

A Re-Dedication to the Blog..
I have decided to delete my facebook account and to redirect my efforts toward chronicling my girls' growth by dedicating more time to them and their blog. I originally wanted to turn this blog into a book for Angelina for her to see herself growing by leaps and bounds, but I tapered off being tired and pregnant again and losing the energy to keep it up.
Anyway, today Angelina is at Mother's Day Out. She started in September. I can't believe that she is 2 years old and I didn't even blog about it. Her little sister Abigail was born at the end of December, just three days before her Daddy's birthday. Her original due date was 1-1-11 which I thought was pretty crazy.
Abigail has her first cough which unfortunately coincides with the fact that I cannot be a recluse with her as I was with Angelina since Angelina is two years old, loves her sister and loves other children. Unfortunately, the latter comes with an exchange of germs and thus the little sister to deal with it. It also conveniently comes with a change in jobs for the hubby and a month without insurance! :(
I am hoping that it is just allergies maybe just the wet cough and a little runny nose/congestion...no fever...we've been doing the saline and the steam from the shower and I am going to get the cool mist humidifier down (or daddy might have to), dusting the house once more over and tonight changing the air filters. For now, dinner is in the crock pot. ( I've learned to love that little thing with two kiddos)
Abby is sleeping in her swing, elevated. I'm watching her like a hawk to make sure her symptoms don't progress. Dear Lord, keep my little Angel Abigail well and her big sister Angelina, too.

Angelina and Abby Get All Dolled Up
On Monday, Tiffany at Mulberry Dreams (you can find her at Mulberrydreams.com) offered Teeny Tiny Easter Freebies for customers from 2010. She is who we used for Angelina's First Birthday pictures. They were teeny tiny sessions of 15 minutes. Unfortunately, Abby and Angelina are at difficult ages so we were unable to get a picture of them together, but we got these two and they are beautiful nonetheless. My girls are gorgeous. I am already scheduling a session with her in the summer. She loves to photograph babies in the 6-8 month age, so we will try again to see what we can get. I am already SOOOO excited! Tiffany is FABULOUS!
