Mommy and I went to see Annie after dinner tonight. We arrived right when her nurse, Mindy, was starting her 8 pm feeding. The nurse was nice enough to let me hold her while she was eating. As soon as she laid her head on my chest, she starting looking around for mommy. She's been so attentive lately! Once she settled into a good position, she fell sound asleep as her feeding continued.
The nurse weighed her before we got there tonight, and the great news is Annie had a little growth spurt. She weighed 2 lb 14.2 oz, her biggest 1 day jump so far! She's only a few ounces away from a new milestone - 3 lbs. At this rate, she'll be there by the end of the weekend.
Mommy said she is looking forward to seeing friends and family tomorrow at the shower in Houston. Nana is in town for the shower and she was able to visit with Annie and Mommy today. She was so happy to see how big Annie had gotten since she was born. We are all so proud of her.
